Walgreen Next Gen Cabling Upgrade

Driver Technology Consulting, LLC awarded 19 Walgreen stores in the state of Mississippi.  The project involves installing new Cat5e cabling in preparation for WALGREEN'S rollout of new advanced POS equipment. DTC, LLC's team installed an average of 3500 feet of new Cat5e cable at each Walgreen store, terminated and certified each cable to level III certification standards.

DTC, LLC presented as a vendor at Expo 2011, which was hosted by the Madison County (MS) Alumnae Chapter - Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. on February 26, 2011.  Dr. Bill Cooley of Systems Companies was guest speaker for the event.

ICC Elite Installer Certification

DTC, LLC receives VOSB verification status

 DTC, LLC receives verification of Veteran-Owned Small Business status from the VA Center for Veteran Enterprises (CVE)


The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE) has certified DTC, LLC as a Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB).  DTC, LLC is now recognized, beyond self-certification, to be eligible for VOSB Set-Asides, and to participate in the Veterans First Contracting Program.

“We are pleased to receive verification by the Center for Veterans Enterprise,” said Morris Driver, president of DTC, LLC.  “This certification is one more positive factor in our favor as we strive to deliver high value services and solutions to our Federal customers.  We are also very excited to be eligible to compete in the Veterans First Contracting Program.”

As a verified VOSB, DTC, LLC has the opportunity to compete for VA contracts under the Veterans First Contracting Program, as listed below:

Benefits of the Veterans First Contracting Program:

  1. Redefines priorities for contracting preferences within VA, placing SDVOSBs and VOSBs first and second, respectively, in satisfying VA’s acquisition requirements.
  2. Allows sole source contracts over the Simplified Acquisition Threshold up to $5,000,000 (including options).
  3. Implements restricted competition via Set-Aside Procedures for each category of VOSB.
  4. Allows additional credit evaluation factors for VOSB status.
  5. Authorizes large VA prime contractors to obtain subcontracting credit for VOSBs only when they subcontract with verified firms.
